The house is in the
middle of the national park of Cilento, a peaceful and beautiful area not
contaminated by tourism. It’s a great place for long bike rides from village to
village or to the sea, which is not very far.
Closest beaches are Ascea,
Acciaroli with his beautiful little port, Castellabate ( where the movie
Benvenuti al Sud has been filmed).The coast is both
sandy and rocky which it makes it interesting for fishing and snorkeling. And
also there are possibilities to keep a boat or rent one .For the divers and sea lovers a great place to discover is Palinuro so well known for his beautiful coast , clear water and amazing diving in caves.

For Archeology is a great area , it has been the land of Magna Graecia . You can visit the ruins of Velia (in Ascea) and the amazing
Temples of Paestum ( 450BC) with it’s archeological museum.

From Acciaroli or you have "aliscafi" that can bring you to the island of Capri or to the Amalfitan Coast to visit Positano, Amalfi, Ravello.
